CR
Christina Rice
Founder & CEO

Christina Rice is the Founder and CEO of Supplemental Oxygen. Local businesses and traditional media companies are under enormous pressure to compete in a digital-first advertising world. sO2 Digital exists to make that climb survivable. The mission is simple: make digital advertising as easy to implement as breathing.

sO2 helps local media companies, agencies, and SMBs succeed in the digital economy by combining full-service campaign execution, digital sales training and certification, proprietary campaign workflow technology, and data-driven marketing strategy under one roof. Atlas, the platform formerly known as Workspace, is the cockpit the team uses to manage campaign orders and budgets, workflow collaboration, performance reporting, and margin and revenue tracking. The result is a digital infrastructure that lets media organizations and SMBs adopt modern advertising without overwhelming their teams.

Christina's experience in digital media began over 30 years ago, before Google existed, when Pegasus was the email client of choice, and the biggest objection from clients and account executives was "this internet thing is going away." She has worked across some of the most influential organizations in digital media: Ameritech, where she grew internet sales 300% while training 140+ account executives; AOL / Time Warner, where she delivered 150% of sales goals across integrated media platforms; and Classmates.com, ShopLocal, Barrington Broadcast, and Sinclair Broadcast Group. Along the way she partnered with the major agencies in New York, Chicago, and LA on campaigns for Sony, Nike, and Coke.

In 2014, Christina and her co-founder James Clark launched sO2 Digital to bring everything they had learned into one integrated solution. Within three years they had built the company to $10M+ in revenue with a lean remote team and 99% client satisfaction.

Beyond her national work, Christina has spent the majority of her career as a visionary integrating technology and providing technology development guidance, creating sales plans, training, and digital products designed for the structure and dynamics of traditional media companies. Her track record is growing revenue and maintaining margins while driving campaign results for small-to-medium local businesses.

Christina has also built a full online digital advertising and marketing training program that certifies account executives, managers, and support staff. She has spent thousands of hours leading organizational training workshops for broadcast TV, cable, radio, newspaper, and yellow-pages networks, launching agency events, and promoting the value of adding a digital component to media campaigns. She's sat in the chair across the table as an account executive, manager, mentor, trainer, owner, partner, and chief revenue officer, and that range is how Atlas got designed the way it did.

When not focused on digital advertising, Christina can be found sailing, golfing, working out, spending time with her 5 nieces and nephews, and traveling the world looking for her next adrenaline-packed adventure. Christina earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.

DG
David Goretsky
Lead Developer

A Northern Virginia native, David grew up in a suburban idyll not unlike Hawkins, Indiana (hello, Stranger Things fans), but without the Upside Down. A visit to Disney World at six years old led him to a lifelong fascination with the robots, and eventually to a degree in Symbolic Systems at Stanford. He'll spend the rest of his life explaining what that is.

After a long career in Silicon Valley building software solutions for the VA, schools, banks, and businesses, he moved up the Northern California coast to Mendocino County, where he used his technical and people skills to run a copy and print business. He successfully dragged the business into the digital age, expanding it with architectural plan archiving and increased graphical design, before returning to Northern Virginia in 2014.

After brief stints in the printing business again and IT, he returned to systems development with a dating site and app before joining sO2 in 2018. When not crunching code and wrangling bits, David enjoys good food, good beer, and comedy in all forms (sketch, improv, and stand-up).

SH
Sean Harris
Ad Operations / PPC Specialist

Growing up in America's Dairyland, Sean learned to milk life for all it's worth. Sometimes that comes in the form of sampling the latest craft beer (a fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure). He might also go crate-digging to find that perfect vinyl record for his collection, or enjoy the great outdoors hiking or on the golf course during Wisconsin's two seasons, winter and construction.

Sean graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in 2013 with a BA in English. His favorite literary work is Fifty Shades of Grey by E. L. James. Sean lives in Janesville with his wife, Bekah, and their dog, Ami, a Japanese Chin and hamster mix. He and his wife are die-hard Packer fans (Go Pack Go!) and enjoy spending time with family, watching cringe-worthy reality TV shows (My Big Fat Redneck Wedding, anyone?), and traveling to new and exciting places.

Over the last several years, Sean has honed his digital marketing skills in search engine optimization (SEO) and paid search (PPC) marketing. As a member of sO2 Digital's G.O.A.T. team (think the '95–'96 Chicago Bulls), Sean strives to transform clients' digital advertising campaigns into veritable, likely Holstein, cash cows.

"Atlas is the platform I wanted to use when I was the buyer. Not the platform someone built to sell. That difference shows up in every decision we make."

— Christina Rice, Founder
